These past two weeks in Nicaragua have been truly incredible. We’ve gotten to pray over people, cast out demons, work on the farm, and feed people. Unfortunately due to COVID, our ministry outreach has been cancelled and we will be focusing on ministry only at REAP for the rest of our time. The news is disappointing but we’re trusting that the Lord is going to use this time for so much good.

In reflecting on this, I’m reminded that even when our plans change, God is still good and He is still working. The Lord is faithful in changed plans. This is something that is so evident in my team. Since we’ve gotten to Nicaragua we’ve had one team member share their testimony each night. What’s been crazy but so cool is hearing how each person got on this trip. The majority of us signed up for a completely different trip and were expecting to be there right now. The rest had different plans for the next season of our lives. However, God had different plans for us. Over time, we all ended up here, together. We pray, worship, talk, laugh, and just spend time loving each other; it’s been so sweet.

The Lord changed each of our plans in big ways to get us here. Now that they are changing again I’m so expectant to how He’s going to use this too.

I would love it if you could be praying over my team as we enter this new season. I also want to encourage you, that even when your plans change, there’s still a good plan. You will see redemption come. The Lord will lead you to something even better than you could’ve ever imagined.

“I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” - Romans 8:18
